It's hard to believe another year has almost passed (I think once Christmas has being and gone, it'll hit me more how little time I have to make cosplays before my first event)

But with the end of one year, in comes another with new plans for cosplays.
Which is why if anyone looks, new folders of confirmed cosplays I have planned will start appearing in my gallery, just so their ready for tests or the final thing when I wear them in March.

And speaking of 2014, I really need to get planning next year around my final year of Uni. I'm so far only planning Kitacon with all my new cosplays going there, so we'll see which cons I manage to go to afterwards.

Alcon 2013

Alcon has being and gone, and it was like going home since it was my first convention. I see it as the 'you've cosplayed for another year' mark rather than the date I actually started.
I had a blast there, and get to catch up with friends and meet those I can only see at Alcon. Too much did happen over the weekend to write about it properly, but a lot of good derpy things happened with BladeyCakes, sparrowhawk51, twinfools, VandorWolf, and many others who I don't know their usernames still on deviantART. And I was of course with my bro's RainbowFlavour and InvaderSaph for the weekend.

All in all, I miss everyone at Alcon cause it was such a fun time.

Cosplay Facebook Page

I decided, after debating for a while, to make a cosplay page on Facebook to see if I'd be likely to keep it up to date. If I remember I have one. You can find my page here www.facebook.com/theoncomingst…, and at some point I'll actively link in my journal side bar.

Come December 2013, I'll be onwards into my fifth year of cosplaying. I never really knew I'd carry on this long so I feel old.

Thought Bubble

My next event is likely going to be Thought Bubble as the final one of the year. As I doubt I can afford to get to London Expo in October as much as I'd like to go purely to see people from Alcon again. So, onwards with getting prepared for Thought Bubble on the off chance I can afford to attend TB as usual this year. If I go, I'm planning to make Lie Ren instead of comic Loki. Hopefully I can make him as I'm planning him out and a lot of pieces may only just arrive in time. So if I can't make him, I'll find someone comfortable and warm to wear instead.
If such a thing exists in my cosplay collection...


Also, is it me or is Britain suddenly well into Autumn/getting towards Winter rather than very late summer or early Autumn. So cold man. 

Ayacon

Alcon

Alcon is this week, and excitement has kicked in however. It's like going back to where it all started in a way, since it was my first proper convention back in 2010.

My plans for the weekend are;
Thursday; Wreck-it Ralph, Wreck-it Ralph
Friday; Spirit, Soul Eater
Saturday; Loki, The Avengers
Sunday; Minato Namikaze, Naruto, and Jade Harley God Tier, Homestuck, in the afternoon.

As current, the only cosplays I have friends joining in are possibly Soul Eater and Naruto, and I'll be wearing my God Tier with RainbowFlavour whose also my Kushina. While friends are doing Marvel Saturday, I'm the only film version so all alone.

But it shall be fun, cannot wait to hopefully meet up with Nova and Twin after meeting Val again this year, and of course Theguywiththeglasses is going. And wow. So many guests and panels I want to do. Busy busy times. I'll be glad only Loki is heavy, even if Saturday is the day I have the most panels I'm interested in attending. Sob. Properly all up stairs as well.

Ayacon is around the corner, and here comes the plans for the event.

Thursday;
Pre-con I'll be wearing young Severus Snape with Roenua as Lily Evans
Friday;
All day I'll be wearing Gamzee, sober version, with Roenua as Nepeta. If all goes to plans, I'll have two different versions of it to travel the day with
Saturday;
Until mid Afternoon (around the Masq) I'll be wearing Loki, and afterwards be changing into older Severus Snape for a bit as my cool down cosplay. Since I can at least strip parts off that if I'm too hot. I'll likely continue to wear Snape to the party minus his robe if I go.
Sunday;
All day I'll be Clopin, but half the day I'll be in the jester outfit, the other half the king of the gypsies outfit. Not sure on the order, but likely festival to normal. Since it's the final night, if I can pack it all, I'll wear the suited version of Loki if I'm not too tired or think it'll match the parties theme.

I'm not planning any specific events yet, since I'll be mostly hanging out with Roenua we'll likely make plans once we get our con books.

Looking forward to my cosplays, but when you line them up together... they're all look very similar and its making me laugh quite a bit now.

Okay, on a new note, I have cleared out something like 6 years worth of journals now and only kept the ones dating from 2013 (and the one with my new journal theme since it has stuff in there to keep).

Deleting all these journals has broken my deviations counter, but hopefully deviantart will fix this soon.
So in the mean time, I apparently have 0 submissions.
At least my dA feels a little cleaner now.

Conventions

My next upcoming event is London May Expo, where I'll be wearing

Friday; Wreck-it Ralph, with Roenua as Vanellope and Rainbow-Flavour as Fix-it Felix. Hopefullly we'll have a Turbo with us as well.
Saturday; Gamzee, with Roenua as Terezi and Rainbow-Flavour as Karkat
Sunday; Cloping Trouillefou, with Roenua as Esmeralda

So yes, everything apart from minor repairs and arrangments is set to go, so the next month before Expo shall be work, work, work, fixing cosplays, and then finally packing and getting things in a box to take down.
